In keeping with our parent company's thrust in delivering innovative systems and processes, APV developed this unique method that allows detection of plate deformities, faults, cracks and pinholes without the need to open up the plate pack. This is not just a faster, cost-effective way of checking for plate deficiencies, but also a more secure method of ensuring its integrity.
What are the benefits gained from the Testex system?
- Maximum efficiency: Cracks smaller than 2 µm in diameter can be detected, smaller than the majority of bacteria.
Other test procedures cannot detect defects smaller than 5 microns.
- Optimum reliability: We employ the EDA method - Electrolytic Differential Analysis for a reliable detection of faults
and contaminated plates.

- Quick to operate: The process only takes approximately 3 hours to complete.
